Winners of the Business Achiever Awards 2012

CDE Global has been crowned the ‘Ulster Bank Business Achiever 2012’ at the national final of the awards, which took place at the Mansion House in Dublin. The awards, now in their 19th year, are in association with the Irish Independent, Enterprise Ireland and InterTradeIreland.

Based in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone, CDE Global is a leading supplier of washing equipment for quarries and mines on the global market. Through a dynamic and innovative team, CDE Global are committed to engineering excellence and constantly evolving sector defining equipment while ensuring each client receives a professional experience. CDE has a track record of bringing new products to market. In the last two years these developments have included a series of new products for customers across the globe. CDE’s current strategy sets a target of $100million turnover by 2016. Through continuous focus on innovation, development of its workforce, and development of the right partnerships, CDE’s ultimate goal is to be the number one washing equipment supplier in every country in the world.

Speaking at the national final awards ceremony, David Thomas, Managing Director of Ulster Bank’s Corporate Banking Division, said: “This year’s 32 national finalists represent 20 counties, employing over 3,000 people and have a combined annual turnover of over €320 million. CDE Global will receive a comprehensive reward package including a publishing bursary with the Irish Independent, business mentoring, a full service communications workshop, as well as national and regional PR opportunities.
