ClimateLaunchpad

ClimateLaunchpad is the world’s largest green business ideas competition https://climatelaunchpad.organd is now open for applications.

Bigger opportunity than the internet

Climate change is the number one biggest business opportunity of the 21st century. Do you have an idea and are not sure how to get your business started? Do you want to know how to accelerate your business idea? Then apply to be part of ClimateLauchpad. Climatelaunchpad is part of Climate-KIC, the largest EU innovation programme, with access to networks that are second to none. Collectively our startups have raised 400 mln.

Don't take our word for it

Here is what previous participants have said about the programme.

Above and beyond

ClimateLaunchpad programme was excellent. The team managed to both support and push in equal measure and helped me to achieve more than I ever thought I could. Both Aideen and Ron went above and beyond for each team on the programme and I will be forever grateful to them.

Connect abroad

The ClimateLaunchpad programme was the perfect vehicle to help us develop our business idea. It gave us access to great mentors and insights from experienced entrepreneurs and investors, helping us to develop a solid business model. As well as the mentoring, it gives you an opportunity to connect with many other businesses in Ireland and abroad

Enjoyable, stimulating and worthwhile

SmartEarth found ClimateLaunchpad to be a very enjoyable, stimulating and worthwhile experience. Collaborating with other founders in different areas but with a related business, focus helped hone all value propositions to realistic solutions. The mentoring and workshops were excellent and we had 3 great presenters. I would recommend ClimateLaunchpad to any entrepreneur with a great climate-related idea.

Change your life

Firstly the biggest problem we will ever face is happening right now. The world is more connected but more divided and our climate is changing faster than we can adapt. Besides the doomsday backdrop, CLP made starting a business fun. I have done many other startup programs but none of them were concerned about getting a worthwhile, long-lasting business out the other side. It was purely a question of statistics and churning out ‘graduates’.

From day one we were told that we would be part of the Sustainable Nation family and this is the truest statement you will ever hear. My advice is to have a look at your idea and if it doesn’t appear to have a green/clean tech aspect to it, check again and failing that, make it!! If you take the advice from Aideen and Ron, I assure you in 6 months you will be well on your way to having your own business. Do not hesitate to apply for this program...it will change your life!!

Strongly recommended

As a company developing a next-generation hydroponics platform, we found the ClimateLaunchpad of immediate benefit. In particular, the program helped us fine-tune our business model and better positioning the company to be more investor and partner ready. Particularly liked the local & Intl CLP team individual company engagement approach and the "real world" advice and follow up.

Would strongly recommend this program as a good foundation step for entrepreneurs who have ambitions to build a scalable business that will combat climate change.

Apply!!

You will be amazed how many sustainability angles there are. SMEs that want to use this as an opportunity to reinvent themselves can also apply. If in doubt you can contact me directly.

Considering the state of the planet and the time left to do something, this is pathetically small. Nothing wrong with the good intentions, or the concept, but it's like putting a finger in a dyke to hold the water back. https://www.facebook.com/worldeconomicforum/videos/10154568454511479/
