Social Enterprise Award winner – Acquired Brain Injury Ireland

The winner of the Social Enterprise catagory in the Business Achievers Awards is Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, Dublin. Judges were impressd with their growth, their ability to develop a national foot print and their expansion plans.

Established in 2000, Acquired Brain Injury Ireland [formerly The Peter Bradley Foundation] is Ireland’s leading provider of flexible and tailor-made services for people with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

Their mission is to enable people with neuro-rehabilitation needs to lead meaningful lives in the community by providing personalised quality rehabilitation and support. Each person is an individual and each brain injury is particular to that individual therefore their approach is to provide a custom-made rehabilitation and care programme specific to their needs that will help to maximise their abilities.

Acquired Brain Injury Ireland is a value-driven organisation. They pride themselves on the quality of services they provide and they are the first organisation in Ireland to receive internationally recognised CARF accreditation as a provider of quality services for people with an ABI.

Acquired Brain Injury Ireland is a strong advocate for the estimated 10,000 people per year who experience an ABI in Ireland today, and is constantly seeking improved support services for those with ABI and their families

Headquartered in Dun Laoghaire and with offices in Sligo, Galway, Kerry and Tipperary which cover the whole country.
