Workplace Pension Legislation

Since October 2012 the new workplace pension legislation (Auto Enrolment) has been rolling out, starting with employers with large workforces and eventually applying to small employers from early 2016.  The date the legislation applies to your business will depend on the size of your workforce.

This new legislation requires all employers to put in place a workplace pension scheme, into which eligible employees must be enrolled and a minimum contribution paid by both the employer and employee.

The new legislation has many pitfalls and the onus is on the employer to ensure it is complied with correctly, both initially and on an ongoing basis.

This seminar is aimed at local businesses and will provide you with the following:

Information what you need to know about the new legislation

What you need to do Your responsibilities under the new legislation

How we can help how you can meet your responsibilities and  what is available to help you

Jason Holmes from Lumen Financial Planning Ltd and Warren McCleary from McCleary and Company Ltd (Chartered Accountants) will provide the presentations and will be happy to answer your questions.

Please join us for a bacon roll at 9:00. We aim to start at 9:30 and finish for 11:00 with tea/coffee and scones and further discussion.
