Business supports; Skillnets

The variety of enterprise supports on the Island of Ireland is enormous. It is not only about direct support to mentoring and finance, but also about connecting companies to network and learn. Skillnets is a very interesting concept. They bring groups of companies together to address their current and future skills needs.

Skillnets believe that training and up-skilling are key elements in keeping Irish companies competitive. They fund groups of companies in the same region/sector, and with similar training needs, through training networks that deliver subsidised training to Irish businesses.

There are 61 networks in Ireland, ranging from design, animation, gaming, farming, food, wind, law, pharmaceutical, franchise, outsourcing, polymer, space, accountancy, travel, etc.

You name it, and there is likely to be a program, where you can connect with your colleagues and upskilll.

Find a training network here. They are also included in our own support database.
