Give us the background to your business 

The idea to start OnePageCRM came about after a frustrating search for a CRM system. From a napkin sketch, the first designs were sketched and in 2010 was established.

The software focuses on simplicity and an enhanced user experience with a single, simple “one page” dashboard. OnePageCRM helps salespeople and SME’s turn leads into customers, reach targets and grow their business fast.

Designed, developed and marketed from Galway, OnePageCRM sells directly to all the corners of the globe, competing with the major brands. Our focus is on delivering a remarkable user experience and world-class customer support. OnePageCRM is more than just a CRM database, it was built using the principles GTD (Getting Things Done) applied to sales, which means it’s very proactive about sales.

With 10,000 users worldwide, we know a thing or two about what helps grow sales for salespeople.

The best business tip you've ever received?

Build in shipping as a feature. From a Seth Godin blog post, it intrigued me at the time, and was the catalyst to start OnePageCRM.

Any advice for other business owners?

Listen to your customers, but refer to your strategic vision to ensure you don’t go off track.

Look after yourself - Exercise, headspace, downtime. Become sustainable.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

The company/products will have to have evolved. 5 years is a long time in the software world. Would would like to have grown to 60,000 users worldwide.

Personally, as a business person I would like to be more strategic than hands on. I’m still bursting with ideas and energy, but need to channel that more strategically via the team, and get off the production line as such.

This would enable a healthy lifestyle.

What does business achievement mean to you?

Achieving growth and balance for the team and myself. And having a healthy profit to allow an enjoyable office culture.
