Give us the background to your business

Following years working in the Irish Media in various roles from News Director to Presenter and Producer, I was excited by the birth of social media and the growth of technology and so in 2012 Lorg Media was born, to bring storytelling to the digital age. I started on a consultancy basis in an industry I knew, TV, where I began TG4's journey with them into the fast growing and every evolving world of social media.

Today Lorg Media is a digital marketing company with a difference, a production company and a creative agency in one. At our companies offices in Galway's West End, We Imagine, We Create, We Implement and We Grow your audience.

Our team of makers and creators help brands and organisations tell their story online. We work with a wide range of clients from national broadcasters, government agencies to International Arts Festivals and leave our Lorg on everything from video campaigns to social media strategies and training. We come up with ideas, which we nurture and implement. At Lorg we are focused on results-based marketing in the digital world.

The word Lorg as Gaeilge means to seek, to find, to leave an impression.

And that’s what we strive to do and continue to do every day, with each client and campaign we work on. At Lorg Media we develop your brand through video and content creation brand-development.

Irish culture, in its many guises, is at the heart of everything we do at Lorg Media.

We promote Irish people and Irish culture in every project we undertake and every story we tell.

The best business tip you've ever received?

"Leadership is about making others better because of your presence, and making it last in your absence." Frances Frei - Harvard Business School

Any advice for other business owners?

Change is inevitable. Know that people are at the centre of change and that innovation is key.

Company culture and understanding your people is important. Have that lunch with your team and celebrate all of the milestones, theirs and the companies. Have fun!

You'll always be busy but ask yourself frequently what is that you want to do.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself leading the way for Lorg Media in expanding the Culture and Creativity of Ireland, internationally, one Digital footprint at a time.

What does business achievement mean to you?

Having a team I admire, and help to grow, working alongside me. Knowing that we strive to do our best and give our best every day.

Contributing to the growth of Irish culture internationally and while doing so being kind - for me kindness wins every time.
