The British Irish Chamber of Commerce along with Ulster Bank and co-sponsors KPMG came together on May 30th to address the various challenges and opportunities that Brexit has brought about for business interests in the UK and Ireland. Here's what happened at the 3rd #AGENDA2018 event:

’Brexit 1 Year On: What has happened and what is next’ was the fourth event in the #AGENDA2018 seminar series, and brought together leading figures from across business, public affairs and politics. Ulster Bank sat down with some of the different panel participants to examine how the Brexit process has progressed since Article 50 was triggered last March while also exploring the likely challenges and out-comes that lie ahead. 

The next Agenda 2018 event

The next instalment of the seminar series focusing on the Agri-Food sector will take place on September 5th at the Intercontinental Hotel. entitled 'The UK-Ireland Agri-Food sector: A Shared History, A Shared Future’.

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Mr. Michael Creed T.D. will be providing the keynote address with additional speakers including Patrick Coveney, CEO of Greencore, Tara McCarthy, CEO of Bord Bia and Ulster Bank’s Head of Agriculture Dr Ailish Byrne.
