Alan is an Operations Manager in InterTradeIreland with responsibility for the Challenge and FUSION Innovation programmes. FUSION brings companies, academic institutions and graduates together to carry out projects typically aimed at developing new products, processes or services and thereby fostering innovation within the company. Challenge enables SMEs to bring ideas to the market with less time, money and risk through the use a proven and repeatable process. Alan has extensive experience in the private sector. He has managed factories and production units in the textile and chemical industries. Alan has also delivered and managed graduate development and training programmes and has worked as a Business Support manager in IT and Consultancy.
